This was high school life- for those at Ridgemont High anyway. There was comedy and even a serious tone- although the serious situations even had a light air to them. The funny scenes mostly contained Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) but for me it was a teen movie. Not "Another Teen Movie" but a teen movie nonetheless and I find it hard to really like them.
